"I have been a member of the Inkerman Band for three years, and during that time I have seen a huge difference thanks to the support and funding provided by the Buckinghamshire Army Cadet League.

The donation towards new musical instruments has made a massive improvement to the band. Having proper, good quality instruments has improved how we practise and perform, and it has given all of us a real sense of pride when representing the Army Cadets at events, camps, and parades.

Because we now have more instruments available, more cadets have been able to join the band, giving others the opportunity to learn music and be part of something they can be proud of. The support from the League has helped the band grow, improve its standards, and motivate us to work even harder.

I am really proud to be part of the band and very grateful to the Buckinghamshire Army Cadet League for their continued support, which has made a real difference to cadets like me.”

"As a CFAV [Cadet Force Adult Volunteer] I have seen first hand the difference that Bucks League can make to a cadet.

Since joining the ACF [Army Cadet Force] , The Bucks League has been instrumental in assisting cadets, who have experienced financial difficulties, enjoy all that the ACF have to offer.

When called upon, the Bucks League have stepped in to support cadets to assist cadets, from providing bursaries to allow cadets to attend events, to purchasing essential equipment.

Any aid provided has always been done with the utmost confidentiality, empathy and kindness. Always ensuring any cadet they do aid, never feels any embarrassment.

A small but mighty charity, that is essential to the Army Cadet Force."
