Lyndon Robinson
He joined the Army in 1984 after a Fishery Science degree at Plymouth Polytechnic where he did his industrial phase working trawlers out of Brixham. He saw active service in four Theatres and unusually for an Army Officer he commanded a ship. He retired in 2020 as the Commanding Officer Bicester Garrison. He is privileged to be the honorary colonel of the Buckinghamshire Army Cadet Force and a trustee of another charity.

Lt Col Meads began his career as a fresh faced teenager when he joined the ACF as a cadet. He rejoined as an adult instructor and since then has progressed from platoon commander, to company commander and is now Deputy Commandant of Bucks ACF.

Col Clarke first joined Buckinghamshire in 2013 as Dept Comdt coming to the post from Hants & IOW. He then went to Berkshire as Dept Comdt, rejoining Bucks in 2024 as Commandant.

WO1 Dan Gallagher
WO1 Gallagher joined as a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) in 2006 and has progressed through from SJT to platoon commander, for which he received the prestigous Silver Sword award, to Company Serjeant Major and now Regimental Serjeant Major. In his day job he is Contigent Support Officer (CSO) for the Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) which gives him a deep knowledge and understanding of Cadet Forces.

Steve Tressider
Upon retiring from The Royal Signals as WO1, Steve joined Buckinghamshire ACF as QM in 2013 and progressed to Cadet Executive Officer (CEO) in 2016.

Lt Andrew Knight
Lt Andrew Knight is a serving Army Reservist and an Army Cadet Force Adult Volunteer.
He served as the Deputy Commandant of two counties: Buckinghamshire ACF from 2017 - 2021 and then Royal Berkshire ACF from 2021 - 2025.
He is the immediate 'past Chairman' of the Bucks ACF League, having held the post of League Chairman from 2018 to 2025, and continues to serve on the League Committee.
Lt Knight is semi-retired, enjoys fly fishing, motorcycling and skiing, other volunteering includes being a Schools Enterprise Advisor for the Berkshire Careers Hub.

Capt Marc Pether
Captain Marc Pether joined Buckinghamshire ACF in April 2025 and is the Officer Commanding the Inkerman Band of Buckinghamshire (The Rifles) ACF.
A former Bugler with the Waterloo Band and Bugles, Captain Pether brings a wealth of experience in military music and ceremonial traditions. Prior to joining Buckinghamshire ACF, he spent over 30 years as an adult volunteer within the Sea Cadet Corps, serving in a variety of senior leadership and training roles.
Since taking command of the Inkerman Band, Captain Pether has overseen its successful reformation and growth, while creating new opportunities for young people to experience military music. He is passionate about preserving the traditions of bugling and military bands while developing the confidence, discipline and leadership skills of the next generation of cadets.
Away from cadet activities, Captain Pether remains actively involved in supporting youth development and community engagement across Buckinghamshire.

Maj Ben Targett
Having first served as a cadet, Maj Targett returned as a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) and has since become one of the longest-standing members of Buckinghamshire ACF. He was one of the youngest appointed CSM's, later progressing to RSM and now a company commander.

Alongside his lengthy cadet career, Maj Fisher is a special constable for TVP and done this for many years.

Capt Daley enjoys working with Cyber and Signal systems, sharing his extensive knowledge with cadets and adults across the whole cadet force.

Maj (R) Richard Wallen
Maj (R) Richard Wallen is a retired Chartered IT Professional and former officer of the Buckinghamshire Army Cadet Force, having joined the organisation in 1977. Over a distinguished cadet service spanning more than four decades, he held numerous appointments, including Platoon Commander, County Shooting Officer, Adjutant, Company Commander, County Training Officer, and Vocational Qualifications Officer.
Richard also spent over 15 years working with CVQO, supporting the delivery of vocational qualifications and personal development opportunities for young people.
A member of the League for more than 40 years, Richard brings extensive experience in leadership, training, governance, and volunteer service. His long-standing commitment to youth development and education continues to inform his contribution to the Committee.

Stephanie Gallagher
Married to the current RSM, Stephanie has been around the cadet force for many years. All three of their children have followed their father's footsteps and are also army cadets. Stephanie looks forward to the challenge of raising The Leagues profile and raising funds to support future adventures for the cadets.
